She was a varsity starter for the girls’ soccer team from her sophomore through senior year and also played basketball until her junior year, when she chose to fully dedicate herself to soccer.

Ashworth has competed in club soccer since age 7, most recently with the E64 Celtic traveling team, which went undefeated in regular season play (12–0) before advancing to the second round of regional playoffs. She earned First Team All-Region and First Team All-Academic honors during her high school career.

Coming from an athletic family of five, her brothers Sam and Gabe both played high school varsity football, with Gabe now playing for Southern Utah University on scholarship. Her father, John, is a program manager at Vivint, and her mother, Amy, is an interior designer. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, walking, and playing soccer together.

Outside of soccer, Ashworth enjoys pickleball, boating, and surfing, and spending time at ponds with family and friends. She plans to study physical therapy at USU Eastern and is excited to compete this season with her new team.
