Jemma Rose, a freshman defender from West Jordan, Utah, brings a strong competitive background and a passion for development to the USU Eastern soccer program. During her high school career, she earned All-State Honorable Mention and First Team All-Region honors. She was also recognized as an Academic All-State selection and received an Athletic Honor Cord for her achievements both on and off the field.
At the club level, she competed at a high level, helping her team qualify for regionals twice and nationals once. Her club team also competed in the Surf Cup, where they captured the tournament championship. These experiences provided her with valuable opportunities to compete against strong competition and continue developing as a player.
She is the daughter of Aaron and Natasha and has three sisters. Athletics have been an important part of her family, with her father playing collegiate soccer and her mother competing in collegiate volleyball.
Outside of soccer, Rose enjoys playing pickleball, reading, hiking and paddleboarding. She chose USU Eastern because she believes it will be a fun experience and provide her with an opportunity to continue improving as a player while beginning the next chapter of her academic and athletic career.
