Bethany Danielson, a sophomore midfielder from Lindon, Utah, brings a versatile athletic background and a strong commitment to academics to the USU Eastern program. During high school, she competed in soccer, basketball, track, and cross country. Her soccer team won multiple region championships, while she also excelled in cross country, placing in the top 30 at the BYU Invitational. Bethany was also recognized with Academic All-Region honors.
She is the daughter of Karen and David Danielson and comes from a large family. She has two older sisters and four younger brothers, all of whom she considers some of her closest friends. Athletics and performance are a major part of her family, as one of her sisters is a competitive figure skater who competes for BYU, while both of her sisters work as mental performance coaches for competitive sports teams. Her oldest sister also works in analytics for the Milwaukee Bucks during the NBA Draft.
Outside of athletics, Danielson enjoys traveling with her family, spending time outdoors, and playing just about any sport. She also enjoys playing the piano, baking and coaching youth soccer. She is studying Elementary Education at USU Eastern and chose the school after hearing about its strong culture from a friend who previously attended. She looks forward to continuing her education while becoming part of the USU Eastern community.
