USU Eastern Athletics

Haygen Haycock, a sophomore goalkeeper from Draper, Utah brings a strong competitive background and proven leadership to the USU Eastern soccer program. She was the starting varsity goalkeeper at her high school during her junior and senior seasons. Throughout her career, she earned Team MVP honors three times and was named Second Team All-State as a senior, recognizing her skill, consistency and leadership on the field.

She comes from a family of four children, with two sisters and one brother. All four siblings grew up playing sports, creating a strong athletic foundation within the family. Her family also has a strong connection to baseball and softball, with her father playing collegiate baseball at Utah State University Eastern and the University of Utah. Both of her parents now own and operate their own businesses while continuing to support their children's athletic and academic pursuits.

Outside of soccer, she enjoys hiking, hammocking and spending time outdoors. Haycock plans to study radiology while at USU Eastern and chose the school because of its welcoming environment, supportive faculty and wide range of classes. She looks forward to continuing her academic and athletic development while becoming part of the Eagles community.
