Kayla was a four-year varsity starter at Provo High School, serving as team captain in both 2023 and 2024. During her career, she earned Team MVP honors twice, was named First Team All-Region, and received Academic All-Region recognition in 4A. Off the field, she excelled academically as a 4.0 student with High Honors, lettering in five subjects, and participating in Student Government, National Honor Society, and DECA. At the club level, she competed for Utah FC and Celtic FC before finishing her career with La Roca FC, helping the team qualify for DPL Nationals three times and reach the State Cup quarterfinals in each of her last two years.

She is the daughter of Todd and Amy Stoddard and the second youngest of five siblings. Her brother played football at Snow College and Southern Virginia University, while both of her older sisters played soccer at Utah State University Eastern.

In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, painting, and spending time with friends and family. She plans to pursue a degree in Elementary Education and chose USU Eastern for its supportive community and close-knit environment, as well as the opportunity to follow in her sisters’ footsteps.
