USU Eastern Athletics

Addy Simmons, a redshirt freshman defender from Murray, Utah, brings a strong competitive background and leadership experience to the USU Eastern soccer program. She was a three-year varsity player at Murray High School and served as team captain during her senior season. That same year, she was named First Team All-Region, recognizing her impact and leadership on the field. In addition to soccer, she competed in track for one year and was named to the Honor Roll every term throughout her high school career.

She is the oldest daughter of Mick and Tiffany Simmons and comes from a family with strong ties to Utah State University. Her father attended USU, where he played club baseball, while her grandfather served as a professor at the university for 44 years. She also has two younger siblings who compete in golf and soccer.

Outside of soccer, Simmons enjoys boating, traveling and skiing. While she has not yet decided on a specific field of study, she chose Utah State University Eastern because of its atmosphere and the opportunity to be part of a strong soccer program.
