USU Eastern Athletics

Zion Amado, a freshman midfielder from Herriman, Utah, brings a strong competitive background and proven leadership to the USU Eastern soccer program. During his high school career, he earned Second Team All-State honors and was named team MVP twice, recognizing his impact and contributions on the field.

He is the son of Ila and Gabriel Amado and has two brothers and one sister. His family has supported him throughout his athletic career and continues to encourage him as he begins his collegiate journey.

Outside of soccer, Amado enjoys listening to music, fishing, playing video games and spending time with his family. He plans to study Aviation and chose USU Eastern because it provides the opportunity to continue his soccer career and education while remaining relatively close to home. He looks forward to beginning the next chapter of his athletic and academic career as an Eagle.
