Biography

Amaru-Murell Franz, a freshman forward from Horn-Bad Meinberg, Germany, brings collegiate and international experience to the USU Eastern soccer program. He previously competed at Otero College and played for Sportclub Verl, gaining valuable experience in both the collegiate and club environments.

He is the son of Jürgen Steinmetz and Jaqueline Franz and has a sister, Lia Franz. His family has supported his athletic journey and encouraged him as he continues pursuing opportunities to compete and develop at the collegiate level.

Franz chose USU Eastern because he believes the school provides an elite academic and athletic environment. He looks forward to continuing his soccer career while taking advantage of the opportunities to grow both academically and athletically as an Eagle.
