USU Eastern Athletics

Leandro Robles, a sophomore forward from West Jordan, Utah, brings competitive experience and a strong family connection to the sport to the USU Eastern soccer program. During his soccer career, he helped his team reach the National Championship Qualifier, gaining valuable experience competing at a high level and preparing for the next step in his athletic career.

He comes from a family of five with an older brother and an older sister. His brother also continued his soccer career at the collegiate level, playing at Salt Lake Community College and Western Texas College. His father, Fredi, is Peruvian, while his mother, Sariah, is Salvadorian, giving him a diverse cultural background and strong family roots.

Outside of soccer, Robles enjoys playing FIFA with his teammates and spending time with the people around him. He plans to study Electrical Engineering and chose USU Eastern as a starting point for his college career because it allows him to stay closer to home while continuing to play soccer. He looks forward to developing both academically and athletically as an Eagle.
