USU Eastern Athletics

Tanner Kunz, a freshman midfielder from South Jordan, Utah, brings four years of high school experience and championship success to the USU Eastern soccer program. He played soccer at Alta High School for all four years and helped lead the team to a State Championship during his junior season.

He is the son of Kristi and James and has two brothers and one sister. His family has a strong connection to soccer, as his mother played both soccer and softball at the collegiate level. Her athletic background has helped provide him with a strong foundation and support throughout his own soccer career.

Outside of soccer, Kunz enjoys skiing, hiking and spending time outdoors. He is studying Business in college and chose USU Eastern for the opportunity to continue playing the sport he loves while pursuing his education. He looks forward to continuing his development as both a student and an athlete as an Eagle.
