USU Eastern Athletics

Rodrigo Palacios, a freshman midfielder from Salina, Kansas, brings a decorated high school and club career to the USU Eastern soccer program. He was a two-time First Team All-State selection and scored 25 goals in a single season. At the club level, he helped his team reach the UPSL National Championship Final Four while earning All-League honors and being named to the UPSL Team of the Week.

He is the son of Lorenzo and Liliana Palacios and comes from a family with a strong connection to soccer. He has three brothers, David, Alex and Marcos. His brother David played soccer at Barton Community College and Kansas Wesleyan University and was also a former Comets player. His family's involvement in the sport has helped make soccer an important part of his life.

Outside of soccer, Palacios enjoys playing games on his PS5, streaming on Twitch and spending time with his friends. He looks forward to continuing his soccer career at USU Eastern while bringing his competitive mindset and passion for the game to the Eagles.
