USU Eastern Athletics

McKinlee Philpott, a freshman middle blocker from Clinton, Utah, brings a strong multi-sport background and a passion for competition to the USU Eastern volleyball program. She has been a varsity volleyball letter-winner since her freshman year and led her team in blocks during both her junior and senior seasons. During that time, she finished among the top five in her region and top 10 in the state in blocks. She also competed in basketball for three seasons, helping her team make significant improvements during her time in the program. Over those three years, the team went from an 0-26 season to finishing ninth at the State Tournament.

She is the daughter of Tarrin and Tyrell Philpott and comes from a large family. She is the oldest of five children, with three younger sisters and one younger brother. She also has five biological older siblings, giving her a unique family dynamic and plenty of experience as both a younger and older sibling.

Outside of athletics, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, listening to music and making memories with the people around her. She also enjoys being involved on campus and taking on leadership opportunities. McKinlee is studying nursing at USU Eastern while continuing her athletic career as an Eagle.
