Camryn Mackey, a freshman libero from Afton, Wyoming, brings a strong competitive background and passion for athletics to the USU Eastern volleyball program. During the 2025-26 season, she was named an All-Conference and All-State volleyball player after leading the 4A classification with 502 digs. She also ranked second in 4A with 49 total aces and was named the 3A/4A Southwest District Student-Athlete of the Year. She was also selected as a South All-Star Volleyball nominee.
In addition to volleyball, she has competed in multiple Wyoming High School State Championships in outdoor track and field, basketball and volleyball. Her versatility across multiple sports has helped her develop into a well-rounded and highly competitive athlete.
She comes from a supportive family of six. Her parents, Ali and Bridger Mackey, have encouraged her throughout her athletic career. She has three younger siblings, including two brothers and a sister, and values the time she gets to spend with her family.
Outside of competition, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors and making memories with family and friends. She plans to pursue a career in physical therapy because of her desire to help others. Mackey chose USU Eastern to take her athletic career to the next level while receiving an education that will prepare her for her future career goals.
