Rylee Edmondson, a freshman from Monument, Colorado, brings an impressive high school career to the USU Eastern women's basketball program. A four-year varsity player at Lewis-Palmer High School, Edmondson finished her career with 1,133 points. During her senior season, she averaged 18.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 1.8 assists per game, scoring 454 points and helping lead the Rangers to the 5A State Tournament. She earned First Team All-Conference honors in both basketball and volleyball.
Edmondson comes from a family of seven and is the daughter of Jody and Kelly Edmondson. She has four brothers: Ammon, Cohen, Tate and Knox. Her family has a strong baseball background, with her father playing at Georgia State University, her mother playing softball at Utah Valley University and her grandfather playing professional baseball before being inducted into the BYU Hall of Fame.
Outside of basketball, Edmondson enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating, working out and playing volleyball for fun. She chose USU Eastern because she connected with the coaches and her teammates and felt it was the right place to continue developing as both a player and a person. After college, she hopes to pursue photography, following in her mother's footsteps, or attend esthetician school.
