USU Eastern Athletics

Logyn Howell, a sophomore from North Ogden, Utah, brings a strong competitive background and a passion for athletics to the USU Eastern women's basketball program. During her high school career, she helped her softball team win a region championship and earned First Team All-Region and Honorable Mention All-Area honors. She also earned Second Team All-Region and Honorable Mention honors in basketball and was nominated to play in the 6A Utah Women's Basketball All-Star Game. She was also a Gold Watch runner-up at her high school.

Howell is the daughter of Trevor and Lisa Howell and has three siblings: Josh, Hadley and Zac. Her older brother and sister both attended USU Eastern, where they competed in baseball and softball. Athletics have been an important part of the Howell family, with all four siblings participating in sports.

Outside of basketball, Howell enjoys spending time with her family and teammates. She chose USU Eastern because it felt like home when she visited and was drawn to the strong culture of the basketball program. She is pursuing a degree in nursing and is completing her prerequisites at USU Eastern while continuing her basketball career.
