USU Eastern Athletics

Alyssa Whittaker, a sophomore forward from St. George, Utah, brings an accomplished high school career and a passion for the game to the USU Eastern women's basketball program. She earned 4A Honorable Mention All-State honors in both 2022-23 and 2024-25 and finished her high school career as the all-time leading scorer in Crimson Cliffs High School girls basketball history. She finished her career with 562 points, 337 rebounds, 92 assists, 99 steals, 48 blocks and 55 three-pointers.

Whittaker is the youngest member of a close family of seven, including her parents, Sherrie and Wil, two older brothers and two sisters-in-law. Her middle brother played rugby at Utah Valley University, and her family has remained an important source of support throughout her athletic journey.

Outside of basketball, Whittaker enjoys playing pickleball, listening to music, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She is pursuing a degree in business and chose USU Eastern because she wanted to continue playing basketball while earning a college education. She was also drawn to the coaching staff and the welcoming environment she experienced when she visited campus.
