Biography

Emma Walker, a freshman pitcher from Langley, BC, Canada, joined the USU Eastern softball team.

In her high school career, Emma received significant recognition. She was named the 2023 Canadian National MVP All-Star Pitcher, boasting a 0.00 ERA in bracket play. During the 2023-2024 club season, she recorded impressive stats with 242.1 innings pitched, a 3.8 ERA, a 1.6 WHIP, a .287 batting average against, and 184 strikeouts. Her team secured 2nd place at the AFCS Qualifier in Kent, WA, in September 2023.

Emma's parents are Nairne and Kevin Walker. They both have a background in sports. Emma is an only child and has three cousins on her father's side.

Emma enjoys watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and working out. She plans to study kinesiology with the goal of becoming a softball trainer. She chose USU Eastern for the opportunity to play softball while pursuing her academic and career goals.
