USU Eastern Athletics

Alivia Manning, a freshman middle blocker from Eagle, Idaho, brings four years of varsity experience, championship-level success and strong leadership to the USU Eastern volleyball program. She competed at the 5A level throughout her high school career, helping her team reach the district and state tournaments all four years. Her team finished as district runner-up during her freshman and sophomore seasons before winning back-to-back district championships her junior and senior years. At the state tournament, the team placed third her sophomore year, fifth her junior year and finished as State Runner-Up her senior season. She earned First Team All-Conference honors and served as team captain during her senior year.

She is the youngest and only daughter of Lance and Hannah Manning. She has two older brothers, Chase and Blake, and enjoys being an aunt to her nephew, Tracy, and niece, Willow. Her family has been a constant source of love and support throughout her athletic career.

Outside of volleyball, Manning enjoys spending time with her friends and family and staying active through outdoor activities. She chose USU Eastern because it felt like the perfect fit and she immediately felt welcomed by the campus community. She was also excited for the opportunity to continue playing the sport she loves, thanks in part to her coach, Alyssa. She looks forward to making the most of her next two years as an Eagle.
