Biography
Sam earned a call-up to the Trinidad and Tobago U23 National Team and was a Champions Cup winner with St. Benedict’s College.
He was raised in a single-parent household by his mother, Christa Sankarsingh, alongside his brother and sister. As the first in his family to pursue college athletics, he is motivated to set a strong example.
He plans to study kinesiology while continuing to develop as a goalkeeper. Outside of soccer, he enjoys watching movies and swimming. He chose USU Eastern because it provides a pathway toward his dream of playing professionally in Europe—one step closer to his goal than where his journey began in Trinidad and Tobago.
