Dodi Makassa is a freshman left back on the men's soccer team from Herriman, Utah. He graduated from West High School, where he had an impressive athletic career. Dodi was selected for the ODP Top 18 at U13 and U14 levels and signed an academy contract with Real Salt Lake Academy U15. He also helped Utah Avalanche 06 reach the ECNL Nationals for two consecutive years. During his senior year, Dodi excelled in track, dominating his region and making it to the state finals in four events.

Dodi has three siblings and is the middle child. His father played soccer during his youth and spent a year playing professionally with a third division team in Marseille, France.

In his free time, Dodi enjoys hanging out with friends, sleeping, and watching Netflix. He plans to study Business Accounting at USU Eastern, choosing the school to continue his soccer career while pursuing his academic goals.
