USU Eastern Athletics

Mason Farr, a redshirt freshman from Spanish Fork, Utah, brings an impressive competitive background and a passion for the game to the USU Eastern basketball program. During his high school career, he was named Basketball MVP, School Athlete of the Year and 3A MVP. He led 3A in points scored, blocked shots and rebounds while also leading the state of Utah in blocked shots.

Farr is the child of Shaun and Tenille Farr and is the second of five brothers. All five brothers compete in different sports, but basketball is the sport they have all played together. He will be the first in his family to compete at the collegiate level, making the opportunity to continue his basketball career especially meaningful.

Outside of basketball, Farr enjoys hiking, swimming, being outdoors, playing and watching sports and spending time with others. He will graduate with his associate degree and plans to major in construction management. He looks forward to continuing his basketball career at USU Eastern while earning his degree and building toward his future career.
