Ryleigh Allred, a freshman from Clawson, Utah, brings an impressive competitive background and a passion for rodeo to the USU Eastern rodeo program. During her high school rodeo career, she qualified for the Utah High School Rodeo Association State Finals all four years in multiple events, including barrel racing, breakaway roping, team roping and goat tying. She won multiple rodeos in barrel racing and breakaway roping, placed in the average and overall standings at State Finals, and qualified for Silver State multiple times. She also qualified for Nationals during her junior and senior years through the National Little Britches Rodeo Association.
Allred is the daughter of Hank and Kadie Allred and is the oldest of three children. She has two younger sisters and comes from a strong rodeo family, with her father, grandfather, uncles and cousins all having competed in rodeo. Her father also competed in college rodeo at Utah Valley State College.
Outside of rodeo, Allred enjoys spending time outdoors, riding horses, hunting, fishing, hiking, ranching and reading. She is studying exercise science and plans to attend chiropractic school with the goal of becoming an equine chiropractor. She looks forward to continuing her rodeo career at USU Eastern while pursuing her education and future career.
