Kinley was a four-year varsity letter winner at Spanish Fork High School, serving as team captain her senior year. During her career, she was a two-time honorable mention for the All-Valley Girls Soccer Team and earned her program’s Offensive Player of the Year award as a junior. As a senior, she was voted Player’s Choice Player of the Year by her teammates, named Second Team All-Region, and recognized with the All-Region Academic Excellence Award. At the club level, she played six years at the top level in the state before completing her career with Celtic FC at the Girls Academy level, which allowed her to compete against elite teams across the country.

She is the daughter of Jeremy and Cassie Hicks and the middle child of three siblings, with an older sister and younger brother who also play soccer. The family also has a dog named Eleven, inspired by the TV show Stranger Things.

Outside of soccer, she enjoys music, movies, nature, baking, thrifting, basketball, and following European soccer, along with an interest in true crime. She plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice while competing for Utah State University Eastern, where she chose to attend because of the opportunity to excel both academically and athletically.
