Biography
Kayla was a four-year member of her high school soccer program, helping her team advance to the state finals as a freshman and the semifinals as a sophomore. As a junior, her team went undefeated with a 15-0 record heading into the playoffs, and she was recognized with the “Most Dedicated” award. In her senior season, she served as team captain, further showcasing her leadership on and off the field.
She is the daughter of Nicholas and Marquesa Campbell and the oldest of five siblings. Her younger sister will play lacrosse at Utah State University, while one of her brothers is pursuing an electrician’s license in Florida. Her youngest sister plans to attend cosmetology school, and her youngest brother aspires to become an engineer.
Outside of soccer, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She is currently studying Biology and chose Utah State University Eastern for its smaller class sizes, welcoming environment, and the opportunity to continue her athletic career at the collegiate level.
