Truman Duryea is from Bountiful, Utah, and attended Bountiful High School. He was a four-year varsity starter and letterman in baseball. During his junior year, he was named second-team All-State, and in his senior year, he earned first-team All-State honors. He was the highest-rated 5A high school baseball player in Utah on Deseret News. In addition to baseball, he was named second-team All-Region in football in 2021.

Truman’s parents are Maegan and Brian. He has six siblings and is the second oldest. He is the first in his family to play college baseball or sports.

Truman enjoys reading, fishing, and working to improve in everything he does. He is currently working on his general studies and plans to study engineering. He chose to attend USU Eastern because he liked the coaches and wanted to work harder than anyone else.
