Sawyer Hardman, a catcher and outfielder from American Fork, Utah, is a sophomore at USU Eastern. He graduated from American Fork High School, where he was part of two state championship-winning teams and achieved a remarkable 30-1 record. Sawyer also made four appearances in the state tournament during his high school career.
He is the oldest of five children, and his parents, Sarah and Ryan Hardman, have a family with a strong baseball tradition. Sawyer's cousins played baseball at various colleges, including Utah Tech, UVU, USU Eastern, and Taft CC.
Sawyer is currently studying Exercise Science at USU Eastern. He works as a personal trainer and a photo/videographer, combining his passion for fitness and media. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, hunting, fishing, making media content, and playing the guitar.
