Roper Kay is a freshman catcher and outfielder from Salem, Utah, and a graduate of Salem Hills High School.

During his high school career, his team won a region championship in his junior year and advanced to the final four every season. In addition to baseball, he also played football.

Roper is the son of Ed and Angela Kay and has two sisters and two brothers. His older brother played college baseball, while his sister continued her athletic career through high school.

In his free time, Roper enjoys playing video games, going to the gym, and spending time with friends. He is currently working toward his associate’s degree and chose to attend USU Eastern because of the coaching staff and the baseball program.
