High School: 3 time region champion, Pizza Hit Classic champions, and played on the golf team all four years of high school.

Personal: His parents are Darin Buys and Jennifer Salts. He has two brothers and one sister. His dad played college basketball at Weber State.

He enjoys playing all sports involving a ball. He can windmill a basketball with other dunks. He chose to come to USU Eastern as a stepping stone to become a D1 baseball player.
