McGwire Jephson is a sophomore third baseman from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and a graduate of Rigby High School.
In high school, he earned First Team All-Area honors. As a member of his Legion baseball team, he won back-to-back World Series National Championships and was awarded Best Third Baseman for the tournament.
McGwire is the son of Mitch and Sukey Jephson and has two older sisters. His family enjoys sports like golf, baseball, and bowling, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and traveling.
Outside of baseball, McGwire enjoys playing golf, riding electric and dirt bikes, swimming, and exploring the outdoors. He has a passion for music, especially indie rock and alternative, and loves to travel, having visited multiple countries in Asia and the Middle East.
McGwire is currently studying Business at USU Eastern with aspirations of becoming a business owner. He chose USU Eastern to further his education and contribute to the success of the baseball program.
