Logan Burgess, a freshman catcher from West Jordan, Utah, graduated from Copper Hills High School. He was ranked among the top ten in the state for home runs during his senior year and earned honor roll status every year with a 3.97 GPA. Logan was also an honorable mention for the 6A All-State team.

Logan’s parents are Sam and Bobbie Burgess. He has two biological sisters and a couple of step-siblings. He is the middle child in his biological family. Logan’s older sister played college softball at CNCC, and both of his parents attended college.

Aside from baseball, Logan enjoys fishing, hunting, working on his classic truck, and breeding fish. He loves activities that get him out in nature. Logan plans to study sports medicine but hasn’t decided on a specific path yet. He chose USU Eastern to complete his general education and continue playing baseball.
