USU Eastern Athletics

Kyler Hansen is a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Logan, Utah, and a graduate of Ridgeline High School. During his high school career, Kyler excelled in baseball and basketball. He earned First Team All-Region and First Team All-Valley honors in baseball during his junior year. Although his senior baseball season was canceled due to COVID-19, he played all four years at Ridgeline. In basketball, Kyler was part of the 2020 Region 11 Championship team and also played all four years.

Kyler is the son of Deron and Emily Hansen and has three brothers—one older and two younger. While neither of his parents played college sports, Kyler is passionate about continuing his athletic journey.

After high school, Kyler served an LDS mission in London, England. He enjoys playing baseball, golf, and basketball, as well as spending time outdoors with friends and family. Currently, Kyler is working toward a degree in Business Management. He chose USU Eastern for its excellent facilities, supportive coaching staff, and the opportunity to advance his baseball career.
