Kai Howell is a sophomore left-handed pitcher from Idaho Falls, Idaho, who graduated from Bonneville High School and previously attended Walla Walla Community College. During his high school career, Kai was a standout athlete, winning three state championships, two regional championships, and two American Legion World Series (ALWS) championships.
Kai comes from a unique and accomplished family. He is the son of Desirae and Dustin Howell, both former members of the Air Force and now detectives for the Idaho Falls Police Department. He also has two younger sisters, Saydee and Piper.
Outside of baseball, Kai enjoys golfing, running, lifting, camping, fishing, and spending quality time with his friends, family, and nieces and nephews. He chose to attend USU Eastern for the opportunity to continue playing baseball and contributing to a strong team culture.
