Gage Trane is from Pleasant Grove, Utah, and attended Pleasant Grove High School. During his high school baseball career, he earned MVP honors in a Perfect Game tournament during his senior year and pitched in the state championship game as a junior.

Gage is the son of Todd and Michelle Trane and has two brothers and one sister. His family is highly competitive and shares a love for sports.

In his free time, Gage enjoys spending time with his roommates, watching movies, playing pickleball, and being outdoors. He also loves skiing and spending time in the snow. Gage is studying aviation and preparing to become a pilot. He chose to attend USU Eastern to play baseball and discovered his passion for aviation while at school.
