Utah State University

Ford earned Second Team All-State honors in both 2022 and 2023 and concluded his high school career with a .388 batting average and a .488 on-base percentage. His consistent production at the plate established him as one of the most reliable offensive performers during his prep career.

He is the son of Sam and Marcie Ford and has two older siblings, along with three nieces and nephews. Athletics run in the family, as his father competed in wrestling at Brigham Young University, helping instill a strong competitive mindset and work ethic.

Away from the field, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, and he is also a fan of country music. He is currently completing his general education coursework and prerequisites for medical school. He chose to attend Utah State University Eastern for the opportunity to pursue his education while continuing to play the game he loves close to home.
