Biography

High School: Won a state championship with Jordan High School as a freshman. Also played football at Jordan before transferring to Alta to finish his high school career.

Personal: He is one of four children of Russ and Angela Butterfield. Older brother Seth played for USU Eastern as a first baseman from 2017-2018. Father played baseball in college as well. Served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cancun, Mexico. Wants to study to work in the medical field. Chose USU Eastern because he wanted to follow his brother's footsteps.
