Biography

High School: She did volleyball, basketball, swim, and track at Foothill High School. She lettered in volleyball all four years, lettered in swi for three years (would have been four if not for COVID), lettered in basketball for three and lettered in track this last season. She also competed in Varsity Quiz, was a part of her schools Philharmonic Orchestra, and was a part of the National Honors Society. She played for Foothill High School all four years but transferred to Nevada State High School her junior year. She did duel enrollment and graduated high school with an Associates degree and as valedictorian. She received 1st Team All-Conference in basketball, swam and competed in regional finals for all consecutive years, received MVP, and filled several leadership roles in athletics and academics. She received athlete of the year with her high school this past year and was awarded the title top ten athlete of Nevada and given a generous scholarship. She competed in the first ever UAA women's basketball league and represented Laz Vegas.

Personal: Parents are Melissa and Anthony Bair. Melissa was born and raised in Taylorsville, UT and Anthony was born and raised in Henderson, NV. They settled in Henderson where they had three boys and two girls. She is the oldest of five children. Her family is very active. Her dad played for the UNLV football team and her mother traveled the world teaching and performing in shows as a dancer. She was recruited to several studios in California. Her family enjoys playing sports and supporting the communities athletic endeavors.

She loves spending time with her family and friends and making memories. She also enjoys the outdoors whether it be camping, fishing, or off-roading. She worked in a restaurant for the past two years and enjoyed working for a local accountant doing data entry, clerical, and book keeping. She wants to study business management/administration in college in hopes of opening and running her own medical facility. She came to USU Eastern because she has always wanted to go to Utah State.
