Box Score PRICE, Utah – After a big upset in Taylorsville on Thursday night, the men's basketball team picked up another win on the road against the Colorado Northwest Spartans on Saturday.

The Eagles defeated the Spartans 83-72 to pick up their third win of the conference schedule.

After spending most of the season coming off the bench for the Eagles, sophomore guard Koel Cutler was moved to the starting lineup the last couple games. The move has paid dividends for the Eagles especiallly on Saturday when Cutler scored 23 points and grabbed 3 rebounds.

Cutler shot 7-11 from the field including 5-8 from the three point line.

Sophomore Cam Bailey had another double-double for the Eagles. He scored 11 points and 11 rebounds with a block and a steal against the Spartans.

When the Spartans started to cut the Eagles' lead, the Eagles bench stepped up to help keep the lead.

Freshman forward Kristupas Totoris came off the bench in the first half and scored three time from the three point line. 

In the second half sophomore forward played key minutes for the Eagles while scoring four points and grabbing two important rebounds. He finished the game with six points and seven rebounds with three steals.

As a team the Eagles shot 45% from the three point line and 50% from the field.

Freshman Quinn Peters had another night scoring double figures for the Eagles. He scored 10 points while dishing out 6 assists and grabbing 3 rebounds.

The Eagles now have an overall record of 8-16 and a conference record of 3-7 going into the last half of the conference schedule.

This week they host two conference rivals in Snow College and the College of Southern Idaho. 

On Tuesday the Eagles host Snow as part of the annual fan appreciation night at Utah State Eastern at 7:30 p.m.
