PRICE, Utah — Utah State University Eastern has officially named Easton Ralphs as the head coach of its men's basketball program.
Ralphs, who has been a key figure within the program for the past six years, joined the staff as an assistant coach and, over the past several seasons, has served as the associate head coach. His leadership, consistency, and commitment to student-athlete development have played a significant role in the program's growth.
"As we worked through this transition, we were intentional about evaluating what the program needs moving forward and who is best positioned to lead it. Easton stepped into the interim role and demonstrated that he is ready to take on the full responsibilities of the position. He earned this opportunity through how he led during that period, along with the consistency and investment he's shown in this program over time. I'm confident in his ability to move us forward, and believe in what he will create and become with this opportunity," says Director of Athletics
Jess Brinkerhoff.
Beyond his coaching responsibilities, Ralphs has been an integral member of the athletic department, contributing to its overall growth and success. He has been heavily involved in campus initiatives, community engagement efforts, and building meaningful relationships with student-athletes, staff, and supporters. His ability to connect with people and invest in the broader mission of the department has made a lasting impact.
During his time on staff, Ralphs has been instrumental in recruiting, player development, and building a strong team culture. His familiarity with the program and relationships with current players position him well for continued success.
"I'm incredibly grateful and excited for the opportunity to continue building on the success we've had over the past few years. I believe Utah State Eastern has the potential to be a premier program in the NJCAA, and I'm committed to helping us reach that level." says Head Coach Easton Ralphs.
Ralphs steps into the role full-time after serving as interim head coach at the conclusion of the season. In that role, he provided leadership and continuity for the program during a key transition period, further demonstrating his readiness to guide USU Eastern men's basketball into its next chapter.
With a deep understanding of the program and a strong vision for the future, Ralphs is poised to lead Utah State University Eastern men's basketball forward as the Eagles prepare for the upcoming season.
