Utah State University

Simone's high school team placed 5th in 6A in the state of Texas her senior year, and she earned 1st Team All-District honors. She was team captain both her junior and senior year, and achieved over 2,000 career assists. Simone made the THSCA and TGCA Academic All-State Team her senior year, and in each of her three varsity seasons, she earned Academic All-District and GHVCA All-Academic Team honors.

Simone's parents are Russell and Jillian Romriell, and she has two younger brothers: Tate and Seth. Her family also hosted two foreign exchange students throughout her high school career: Mia from Germany and Laura from Spain. Simone's mom played volleyball in college for SLCC and Boise State, and went on to be an accomplished club and High-Performance coach for 14 years.

Simone loves traveling, hanging out with friends, and reading. She also enjoys music and plays the violin, piano, and ukulele. She plans to study exercise science in college and is excited to explore the incredible hiking opportunities in Utah.
