High School: Four-year varsity player and two-year starter at Viewmont. During her senior year she led her team to a region title and was named first team All-State.

Personal: One of three children of Paul and Trudy Heywood. Hobbies include painting, drawing, cooking and woodworking. Wants to pursue a degree in Finance or Business. Chose USU Eastern because of campus size and community atmosphere.
