Kinley was a varsity starter for all four years at Carbon High School. She was awarded the Exemplar Award during her sophomore year. During her senior year, she was a team captain, chosen as team MVP, and was presented the Academic All-State Award.
 
Kinley’s parents are Chad and Jaime Cowdell. She has an older sister and a younger brother.
 
When Kinley is off the field, she loves to surf, bake, craft, travel, and do anything outdoors. She is still undecided on what she want to study.
Kinley chose to come to USU Eastern because it is close to home. She knows USU Eastern will be perfect because she gets to continue playing soccer while also furthering her academics.
