David Novoa begins his third season as an assistant coach with USUE. Novoa first joined the staff in August 2018 as the head goalkeeper coach, and reserves coach.
Prior to joining USUE, he has spent 4 years working with the goalkeeper development program for Utah State Goalkeeper Academy. As one of their fitness and goalkeeper coach Coordinator. Novoa also works with the development of youth goalkeepers for the local soccer club Voltage FC.
Before stepping into coaching, Novoa played in the minor leagues in Colombia for La Union Magdalena. In Utah he played for the La Roca club, Olympus High School, and continued his soccer career playing for the eagles.
Novoa will be graduating with a bachelor in Psychology with emphasis in chemistry.
