Biography
High School: In 2019-2021 she was named MVP for Prems womens basketball at MRGS, averaging 20 points a game. She's played in the FIBA Oceania U17s tournament in New Caledonia and was named number one rebounder. At MRGS she was prefect for class of 2021. She has been an Auckland representative player since 2019.
Personal: She is the daughter of Okera Matenga, and has one older brother and one younger sister. She will be the first to play college sports in her family.
Since she has finished high school she has discovered a new hobby. Other than basketball she has a love for cars, especially JDM cars, going for cruises with her friends and car rallies is what she spends her free time doing. One thing she'll always love more than cars is basketball, but she is hoping to learn more about the mechanical side of automobile's. One of the reasons she chose to come to USU Eastern is because of the small town. Warming into a small town in a big country is a nice way to start a fresh life in a whole different place.
