Utah State University

High School: She was a three year varsity starter for Preston High basketball.  Her senior year she lead the team in points and steals per game, and was second in rebounds per game.  She made the first team All-State tournament team and first team All-Valley girls basketball.  They took fourth at state her senior year for basketball.  She has also played other sports in high school including volleyball and track and track.  her 4x400 relay team took second at state her senior year.  Some honors that she has received are National Honors Soceity Membership for two years, Key Club Memborship for one year, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Personal: She is the daughter of Brad and Jill Meek and has one older sister.  Her mom played basketball for Weber State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree.  Her dad participated in rodeo during college.  He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's degree.  She says that she is extremely lucky to be able to continue her education while playing the game she loves.

Some of her hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, detailing cars, exercising, and spending time with her family.  She is planning on studying law in college.  She chose USU Eastern because she watned to further her education and knew that this would be a good start.  Playing college basketball has been something that she has wanted to do for a long time.  After meeting the coaches, she knew this would be a good place for her to improve her skills and learn as much as she can from their experiences and their knowledge of the game.
