Ellie Esplin is a sophomore from Springville, Utah.  Ellie had an outstanding high school career at Springville High School. She was a 2-time State Champion and 2-time runner-up. Her individual accolades include 2x First Team All-State, 2x 5A State Tournament Team, Region 9 MVP, Region 9 Defensive MVP, All-Valley Defensive and Offensive MVP. She also maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and earned the Scholar-Athlete award for her athletic career and community service. Additionally, Ellie was a Varsity Volleyball player all four years of high school.

Ellie is the daughter of Matt and Trisha Esplin and has two brothers and one sister.

Outside of basketball, Ellie enjoys staying active and playing games like pickleball and spikeball. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Ellie is studying Biology with a Human Biology emphasis and chose to attend USU Eastern because she appreciates the positive environment created by the team and coaches.
