Utah State University

High School:  Her freshman year of high school she played both soccer and basketball at Hillcrest High School.  She played JV and varsity for soccer.  For basketball she played varsity and averaged 10.5 points per game ending with 231 in total.  She led her team to second place in region and made first team all-region.  At the end of the year she made the decision to transfer schools to Alta High School.  She was not cleared for eligibility so she had to sit out all of her sophomore year and prepared for a comeback season.  Her junior year she averaged 21.8 points and was 2nd lead scorer in the state ending the season with 458 points.  She made 2nd team all-state and first team all-region.  By her senior year most schools started focusing their defense on her.  She was double and tripled teamed a lot her senior season.  She managed 19.3 points a game and finished with 463 points.  In these three years she was able to reach the 1000 club and ended her High School career with nearly 1,200 points, just a few hundred short of the school record.  She made 2nd team all-state and 1st team all-region and participated in the 5A all star game.

Personal:  There are 5 people in her family.  Her mom, Shannon, dad, Bryan, and her 2 younger siblings.  She has an 11 year old sister and a 15 year old brother.  Her dad was a ballroom dancer all through high school and her mom played softball.  Her mom moved from Nevada to Salt Lake where they met at Salt Lake Community College.  Her dad is the manager of the IT department at WFC insurance and her mom is the CEO's assistant at Utah Cancer Specialists.  They enjoy going to Lake Powell every year and watching weekly movies.

She is a very active person so most of her hobbies include other sports like pickleball, spike ball, beach volleyball, and soccer.  She also loves to paint and take photos of any kind of outdoor adventures she goes on.  You'll catch her on the lake every weekend whether it's on a boat or a paddle board.  For college, she is wanting to study graphic design and photography in hopes to one day run her own small business.  She is excited to complete her generals and play basketball at USU Eastern for the next two years.
