Biography
She was a four year varsity starter on the basketball, soccer and track teams at Timpanogos high school. In basketball her senior year she was named 5A 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-County, 5A All-Star, and KSL Rewind 5A MVP. She finished her career at Timpanogos as the all time leader in scoring with 1295 career points, in 3-pointers made at 164, in assists with 319, and in steals with 287. In track and field she competed in multiple events. She helped the girls track team to back to back to back Region VIII titles and its first State Championship in 2021 and runner up in 2022 and 2023. School record holder in the high-jump with a clearance of 5’7, and in the 100m with a time of 12.35. She anchored the school record and 5a state champion teams in the 4x400m and the state record in the 4x200m. In soccer as a senior she was named Region VIII outstanding forward, 5A 1st Team All-state. United Coaches Association Utah Player of the Year and All-American. Helping her team win 3 Region VIII titles and advancing to the state semifinals her junior and senior year.
Her parents are Rob and Mauvia Christensen. She is the youngest of 4 children. Her father ran track at Weber State. Her sister Jamaica competed in basketball at Westminster, SLCC and then ran track at UVU. Her sister Karen ran track at Utah State and her brother Colin is currently playing basketball at Snow College. Her mother enjoys traveling and can speak five languages. They enjoy spending time together.
She enjoys being with friends and family. She also loves art and music and can speak Mandarin Chinese. She chose to attended USU Eastern because of the amazing coaches and the opportunity to continue to develop as a player.
