Biography
She was a four-year varsity catcher during her high school career and delivered an exceptional senior season, leading her team with a .529 batting average and .575 on-base percentage. She also recorded four home runs, 34 runs, 37 hits, a .986 slugging percentage, 16 doubles, and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Her performance earned All-State Honorable Mention recognition in both her junior and senior seasons.
She is the daughter of Kurt and Danielle Stephensen and the youngest of four children, with two nephews. Athletics and academics are both valued in her family, as her brother had the opportunity to wrestle at the Division II level before choosing to pursue pharmacy school.
Away from softball, she enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors. She also raises chickens and fainting goats. She is currently pre-nursing and plans to earn a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She chose Utah State University Eastern to remain close to family and be part of a strong, supportive softball program.
