Biography
Kimberlin Christenson, a freshman from West Jordan, Utah, plays first base and second base for the USU Eastern softball team.
At West Jordan High School, Kimberlin excelled in multiple sports. She started and lettered in varsity softball from her freshman year, earning defensive awards for maintaining a 1.000 fielding percentage during her sophomore and junior years. She also played volleyball from her sophomore through senior years and managed the girls' basketball team in her senior year. Kimberlin was honored with the Jaguar Pride Award for participating in three sports and received the Academic Scholar Award for achieving a 3.9 cumulative GPA.
Kimberlin's parents are Marcie and Kirk Christenson, with a stepfather named Nathan. She is the middle child, with an older sister and a younger sister, as well as an older stepsister and two older stepbrothers. Her mother danced in college, and Kimberlin is the first in her family to play softball at the collegiate level.
In her free time, Kimberlin enjoys the outdoors and hanging out with friends. She plans to study biology and chose to attend USU Eastern to continue playing softball close to home.
