Charlie Turner established herself as one of the most accomplished athletes in her high school’s history. A four-year high honor roll student and varsity letter winner, she excelled both academically and athletically. On the field, Charlie Turner broke the state record for career strikeouts, finishing with a remarkable 68 career wins and striking out 38% of all batters faced while maintaining a 2.44 ERA.

Charlie Turner comes from a close-knit family of five. She is the child of Iraci and Olie Turner and has two brothers, Torin and Olie III Turner. Growing up with two siblings has shaped Charlie Turner’s strong sense of teamwork and dedication, both on and off the field.

Outside of athletics, Charlie Turner enjoys reading and coloring in her spare time. She plans to study Health Science with a focus on Nursing, pursuing a career dedicated to helping others. Charlie Turner chose to continue her academic and athletic journey at USUE because of the welcoming atmosphere, the people, and the immediate connection she felt with Coach Groves. She is excited for the new experiences ahead and the opportunity to grow both on and off the field.
