Charlie Turner established themselves as one of the most accomplished athletes in their high school’s history. A four-year high honor roll student and varsity letter winner, they excelled both academically and athletically. On the field, Charlie Turner broke the state record for career strikeouts, finishing with a remarkable 68 career wins and striking out 38% of all batters faced while maintaining a 2.44 ERA.

Charlie Turner comes from a close-knit family of five. They are the child of Iraci and Olie Turner and have two brothers, Torin and Olie III Turner. Growing up with two siblings has shaped Charlie Turner’s strong sense of teamwork and dedication, both on and off the field.

Outside of athletics, Charlie Turner enjoys reading and coloring in their spare time. They plan to study Health Science with a focus on Nursing, pursuing a career dedicated to helping others. Charlie Turner chose to continue their academic and athletic journey at USUE because of the welcoming atmosphere, the people, and the immediate connection they felt with Coach Groves. They are excited for the new experiences ahead and the opportunity to grow both on and off the field.
